Steven B. McKinney is Founder and President of McKinney Consulting.  He is widely acknowledged as one of South Korea’s most trusted search consultants, and has experience in select industries across Asia Pacific. Also, he is an executive coach, sought after speaker and recognized writer on leadership issues.

Earlier in his career Steve developed the executive search business for another search firm and has nearly 10 years of experience in the industry.

Steve’s success and specialization is with senior-level searches for presidents, country managers, managing directors, chief financial officers, sales directors, business development directors, marketing directors, human resources and attorneys. His market specialization is in the consumer goods, industrial, automotive, information technology and financial services sectors for multinational companies.

He has been a board member of various organizations including the American Chamber of Commerce-Korea and is the Industrial Practice Leader for IMD International Search & Consulting, McKinney’s global partner network.

On April 29, 2007, he was conferred "Honorary Citizen" by Mr. Oh, Se-hoon, Mayor of Seoul, South Korea.

Prior to establishing McKinney, Steve had a distinguished career of more than 12 years in senior global management positions within leading athletic companies Adidas and Reebok.

Steve holds a Bachelors of Arts in Education from Mars Hill College, North Carolina with some MBA studies from the University of Washington and earned his Certified Master Coach from the Behavioral Coaching Institute, New York.
